The Facets e2 CDH Suite for health plans and the QicLink e2 CDH Suite for benefits administrators will aim to address consumer-directed healthcare (CDH) business requirements by supporting a single technology platform that allows payers to manage all aspects of CDH via the web.

TriZetto said the new products will connect payers to a live link with health insurance providers and financial institutions to enable point-of-service claims adjudication.

Robert Natt, president of MBI, added that the suite will endorse the consumer-driven healthcare movement within the insurance industry by establishing real-time financial settlement: Essential to the movement is benefit debit card technology that gives employees easy access to their funds and enables them to conveniently manage deductibles, transfer money and track payments, he said.

TriZetto has also launched two outsourced, turnkey options designed to speed the implementation of TriZetto’s CDH technology. CDH FastTrak and QicLink QicStart combine a set of plan options, pre-integration with preferred financial partners, standardized software components and business process and implementation services. The company expects to rollout these programs at the start of the third quarter.
