It plans to realign its regional sales groups into nine units nationwide, focus more attention on partnerships to target mid-sized corporate customers, increase its marketing and shared technology developments, and reduce the number of its administrative staff.
The reorganization follows a management shake-up that has been occurring across the company in recent months. In April, at the company’s UK-based services operation Fujitsu Services, CEO Richard Christou became executive chairman, and COO David Courtley was promoted to CEO, and since then in June, the company has made 24 senior management changes at a global level, which included 10 resignations.
