SAP Marketing on-demand will offer campaign-management and customer-segmentation, plus lead-management. It will also include role-maintenance and owner-realignment designed to help customize the application to the needs of individual users and aid business continuity by allowing marketing managers to realign owners of accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities, as staffing, organizational, and customer needs change.

New sales functionality will include pipeline performance-management to track new and existing business opportunities, lead-generation, sales execution, and client engagement. Existing account and opportunity management will also be enhanced. In addition, SAP plans to support French, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese languages.
