Broadband connectivity is now within reach for 97% of all homes and businesses, delegates at the recent Broadband Britain Summit meeting have been told.
Online sales in the country are estimated to be worth GBP71.1bn ($122bn) this year.

Penetration of broadband internet in the UK is higher than in any other European country, with 55% of the connections to some 13 million households now being made across high-throughput pipes.
