According to an analysis conducted by F-Secure, MyDoom.AE, 31st variant of the worm, contains the plaintext: we will attack f-secure,symantec,trendmicro,mcafee, etc. The type of attack was not specified.
The worm also says: Sasser author gets IT security job and we will work with Mydoom , P2P worms and exploit codes… The 11th of March is the skynet day lol. When the beagle and MyDoom loose, we wanna stop our activity <== so Where is the Skynet now? lol.
That’s a poorly written jibe at Sven Jaschan, the German teenager who was arrested for, and confessed to, writing the NetSky series of worms in May. He has since found minor celebrity in the German media and a job with a German security firm.
At the start of the year, Jaschan’s NetSky (or SkyNet, as he called them) worms battled through dozens of variants with the MyDoom and Bagle worms for control of poorly secured Windows PCs worldwide.
NetSky, which had no deliberately destructive payload, appeared to be a vigilante program designed to clean PCs of worms being used to turn computers into spam relays, but antivirus firms say there is no such thing as a good worm.
