The hospitals include three Baptist Health centers in Jacksonville, Florida; the Inova Fair Oaks Hospital of Virginia; the Medical University of South Carolina; Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital; Illinois-based OSF St. Joseph Medical Center; the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital; Thomas Jefferson University Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Washington Hospital Center.

GetWell said that each hospital has either completed the installation of its PatientLife program or is currently in the process of doing so. Based on company estimates, the system is expected to reach more than 350,000 patients this year.

The PatientLife System is an interactive patient care platform that allows real-time, on-demand hospital patient communications with care staff. It is comprised of PatientResource Suite, PatientCommunication Suite and PatientCare Suite, which aim to enhance the patient experience during their hospital stay.
