The integration will provide Datallegro customers with advanced extract, transform and load and data quality. In doing so it will allow for smoother and faster data loads into Datallegro’s suite of appliances.
IBM’s Information Server is the name for the collection of IBM Information Integration and Information Integrator products in its Hawk release. The server incorporates technology that IBM gained through its acquisition of data integration software maker Ascential Software Corp in March last year.
Data warehouse appliance vendors have recently been paying closer attention to making their back-end integration more flexible. Last month rival appliance vendor Netezza announced a similar integration with French ETL firm Sunopsis SA, which Oracle Corp acquired last week.
