The Michigan-based public sector software company claims its computer aided dispatch, records management, mobile computing and Aegis justice link will provide the police department with a robust solution that will increase safety for law enforcement and the community.
Describing the software as a seamlessly integrated solution, New World claims the software will help decrease response times and ensure the appropriate units arrive at emergency scenes. The vendor says by using the software, officers will have the information that helps them make informed decisions before arriving at the scene.
The solution is also expected to fully automate the fire department, as they will have access to hydrant location, pre-plans, hazards, and rip and run capabilities, providing them with information that will enhance services to the community and help keep firefighters safe.
A further advantage the vendor claims to offer through Aegis Justice Link is the latest version of its information sharing solution, which utilizes XML to allow an agency to share information with other agencies using disparate systems. Sergeant Brad Kersten of Chesterfield Township Police Department said the ability to share data with other agencies anywhere throughout Michigan was critical in today’s law enforcement environment.
