The support comes thanks to new Actional Ghost Agents for Oracle and JBoss. These work in conjunction with Actional’s Looking Glass product, together said to offer business-process visibility across SOA environments through discovery of services, service callers, and end-to-end business transactions.
Actional Ghost Agent components actively monitor end-to-end SOA transactions and enforce both security and business policies, Progress said, such as Service Level Agreements, without requiring changes to application code or business processes. There is also no noticeable latency added, according to the firm.
