BT is to place a Point of Presence (PoP) for its global network in Iceland, as part of the telecom firm’s ongoing expansion of BT IP Connect Global and Ethernet Connect Global services.
The PoP, located at Verne Global’s data centre campus in Keflavik, will enable BT’s customers to extend their disaster recovery services, data analytics and other applications to servers based in Verne’s facility.

Last week, Verne Global said it is developing the 44-acre data centre campus after raising $98m in funding.
