The programs on offer are the eXactAccess platform, a single sign-on (SSO) technology with multiple shared workstation applications designed to improve the speed to access patient information in hospitals.
In addition, the company will offer its RoamingSessions tool, which it claims will allow users to roam between workstations and continue with their desktop session. It also protects patient information by auto-launching a Privacy Shield tool when a user is called away. The tool isolates the user’s session and prevents others from viewing patient information.
The combination of eXactAccess’ single sign-on workflow solutions and wireless mobile cart computing is a natural fit since carts are exposed to public areas and are often shared by nurses and physicians when visiting patients, said Joan Mehn, HealthCast CEO.
InfoLogix said the addition of eXactAaccess also reduces the risk of breaching HIPAA regulations, while improving the speed that clinicians access their patient’s information.
