The Minneapolis, Minnesota-based company announced new appointments in its international sales, global marketing and marketing communications departments.

CorVu CEO Joseph Caffarreli said in statement that he hoped the appointments would continue to ramp up the company’s particularly strong presence in Asia-Pacific.

CorVu was a pioneering vendor in automated balanced scorecard solutions. But as that technology quickly got subsumed into the broader business performance management space, CorVu suddenly found itself up against larger firms like Hyperion Solutions Corp and Cognos Inc.

The company has struggled ever since it reported an 11% slump in revenue in its last (Q1) quarter and a widened net loss. But to its credit has managed to stay independent.
