The company also intends to roll its DeepSight Alert Service vulnerability warning feed into TMS for the first time, although it will still be available as a standalone service, according to group product manager Dee Liebenstein.

TMS 7.0 will now be able to warn customers directly when any of their domains are specifically named in a piece of malware — when a denial of service or phishing attack is plotted, for example, Liebenstein said.

The service, delivered via the web, will also be able to provide customers with information about spyware and adware threats, in addition to the regular virus and worm warnings, for the first time, she said.
