Beceem’s mobile WiMax terminal chipsets are for base station and subscriber terminal applications, and are based on the 802.16e mobile WiMax standard. The Santa Clara, California-based company, which launched in late 2003, said in March that it had received an undisclosed substantial amount of investment from Intel Corp.
