The new platform, known as the Advanced Broker and Underwriting Management Solution, will integrate the RatingWorks product from Abacus Managed Care Technology, a provider of health insurance products, with Amisys’ Advance payer application in order to deliver a calculation of broker commissions and administration of health insurance quotes.
The integration of RatingWorks with Amisys Advance will deliver comprehensive pricing, distribution, tracking and sales functionality that enables health plans to fully automate the management of insurance quotes and broker commissions while improving overall accuracy and efficiency, said Homer Fiuzat, Amisys’ senior vice president of product management. Our new Broker and Underwriting Management Solution empowers users to instantly increase the volume of quotes presented to the marketplace and also tracks the progress of cases and workloads.
RatingWorks provides group acquisition and revenue management capabilities. It aims to enhance sales cycle efficiency by managing requests between brokers, groups, marketing and underwriting. The product generates real time quotes for new and renewing groups by blending billing, claims, demographic and enrollment data with a range of risk factors.
