Passlogix and Schlumberger have previously collaborated to create smart card infrastructures in an effort to integrate single-sign on programs as used by large-scale organizations.
Our goal is to help the oil and gas industry meet the security requirements for their operational and petrotechnical business processes, and reduce the risk and cost associated with security events, said Mehrzad Mahdavi, vice president of enterprise security solutions, Schlumberger.
As part of the agreement, Schlumberger will implement Passlogix’ v-GO Sign-on Platform to help oil and gas customers deploy secure enterprise sign-on technology in their infrastructures and petrotechnical business processes.
