The Raleigh, North Carolina-based company outlined its plans to support XenSource Inc’s Xen hypervisor during a press conference last week to launch a new resource center for virtualization information.
Although unsupported, Fedora Core 5 gives IT managers and administrators a chance to download the code and prepare for Red Hat’s approach that will be delivered with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 at the end of the year.
Other improvements include the Tomboy note-taking tool, F-Spot for photo management and support for the Accelerated Indirect GLX (AIGLX) graphics capabilities to take advantage of new graphics chip capabilities.
