Zellweger Analytics designs and manufactures gas detection products for use in semiconductor, industrial and oil and gas industries. Its goal is to provide technology that will ensure the safety of employees, protect high-value assets and prevent plant shutdowns.
Honeywell plans to integrate the company into the Life Safety division of its Automation and Control Solutions business in a bid to extend its presence in what it sees as a growing gas detection marketplace.
This expertise complements our existing fire and sensors portfolio and will greatly enhance and expand our sensing and detecting capabilities, explained Mark Levy, president of Honeywell Life Safety. Our customers will have access to a full suite of gas detection solutions in industries where potentially hazardous chemicals and gases exist.
