The Baltimore-based software firm announced plans to strengthen its professional services for financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing and business services.
The move comes after the release of packaged Process Pods that package process templates and other resources (forms, rules, reports, scripts) data targeted at specific verticals.
The idea is that Metastorm consultants will embed pre-defined process maps into new Pods gleaned from the best practices of its field implementations.
Metastorm already offers several horizontal Pods for functions such as customer acquisition, purchase order management and Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 compliance.
