Ralph Young, who has been the VP of Microsoft’s Enterprise and Partner Group in western US for the last three years will take up the new role where he will be responsible for managing Microsoft’s activities in the government, education, and healthcare industries, as well as the teams responsible for public sector programs, partnerships, partners, services, and marketing.
The public sector is one of the key verticals for enterprise application vendors, and both SAP and Oracle have targeted it as a prime market.
