GoodLink wireless messaging is available immediately on the Moto Q for Microsoft Exchange users, while it will be available for IBM Domino/Lotus Notes users this summer.
Our thousands of enterprise customers are excited by Motorola’s stylish, powerful Moto Q with the flexibility of the industry-leading Windows Mobile platform, said Danny Shader, CEO of Good Technology.
Powered by Verizon Wireless’s high-speed EVDO network, the Moto Q, and GoodLink enable mobile users to multitask between their email with attachments, folders, calendar, contacts, global address look-up, notes, tasks, and certain ERP applications.
The hook-up offers continuous, two-way push-based wireless synchronization of all corporate PIM functions including email, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks, as well as access to other applications including corporate intranets, CRM, and ERP, the companies claimed.
There is also FIPS-certified security including end-to-end AES data encryption, remote data wipe, and remote password policy management. Using GoodLink’s Secure Over-The-Air setup, users can get up and running without having to part with their smartphones.
