Cary, North Carolina-based DataFlux says the expansion is a response to increased demand for data quality solutions. The new offices will be staffed by both sales and support engineers.

DataFlux, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS in 2000, expanded its core technology this summer to include real-time data monitoring, trend reporting and alerting capabilities.

SAS also includes DataFlux’s technology as part of its ETL for the power of Q initiative that fuses together data quality and ETL (extract, load and transform) technologies.
