AstraZeneca will consolidate its myriad of US B2B communications, such as EDI and Secure FTP, through Cyclone’s Interchange gateway in an attempt to gain visibility and control over those transactions with Cyclone Director.
AstraZeneca hopes the move will enable it to achieve real-time decision making capability which will improve service to healthcare customers and Trading Partners and help gain competitive edge.
Lack of transactional visibility within our EAI infrastructure contributes to high support burdens for business units and technical teams within AstraZeneca, said Gary Tretina, director, Operations & Finance Technical Skill Center, of AstraZeneca. He added that the selection of the Cyclone platform will allow the company to further extend the access to this data to our external partners.
