Elluminate Live! enables an organization to hold interactive online meetings and training relating to its involvement in the promotion of e-learning quality, interoperability and standards of competency.
The European Institute for E-Learning (EIfEL) provides services to its members supporting the design of strategies for learning and the implementation of technologies. The organization formed Europortfolio, a European consortium that promotes and facilitates the use of e-portfolios: knowledge spaces on the internet used to present learning success, manage content and continue professional development.
Additionally, EIfEL is conducting a major Europe-wide survey to explore the level of readiness for e-portfolios and related initiatives. Elluminate Live! enables EIfEL to hold consortium, study and other project meetings for international participants, eliminating travel and allowing those who couldn’t attend to access recorded meeting sessions.
We were looking for a flexible, dynamic platform that enabled us to exchange views and ideas in real time with partners in a variety of countries, not just in Europe but worldwide, said Serge Ravet, EIfEL founder and CEO.
