Voxbone has seen strong growth this year in its Inbound SIP Trunks service.

2014 saw the Belgian multinational supporting over four billion minutes of voice calls, an increase in traffic of 29 percent.

It also boosted its roster of customers with heavy-hitters such as Orange Business Services, Deutsche Telekom, Telecom Italia Sparkle, NTT Communications, and Telefónica.

Often referred to as direct inward dial (DID) numbers, Inbound SIP Trunks allow telecoms providers to extend the reach of their voice networks to locations in other parts of the globe, without requiring a local office in each country.

With the business environment becoming increasingly internationalised, many enterprises require these services to integrate subsidiaries into one overarching communications network and provide local customer support services.

Itay Rosenfeld, CEO of Voxbone, said: "We are thrilled to see that the world’s most prestigious telcos have chosen Voxbone to extend the international reach of their unified communications platforms. While low-cost, low-quality providers have emerged, our strong growth figures underscore the importance of quality and regulatory compliance for enterprise communications.

"In 2015, we will continue to expand our services, enabling enterprise cloud communications on a global scale, via the PSTN or through all-IP networks using WebRTC."
