Under terms of the deal, Dallas, Texas-based ECE will pay an undisclosed sum to purchase Bangalore, India-based iSeva, which will give it an additional workforce of 1,000 call center staff specializing in voice and web-based technical support services, as well as customer service and back-office mortgage processing services to US and Indian clients.

ECE is a division of private equity firm HIG Capital, and the company has been acquisitive in recent months. In October 2003, the company expanded in the European market with the purchase of Dublin, Ireland-based customer contact center business Spectrum Contact Services from Level 3 Communications.
