The company said that the implementation of the system constituted the first step in a strategic upgrade of its information technology infrastructure, which was designed to improve supply chain visibility across the company and make product information available to relevant personal using the company’s existing intranet.

As well as this, the company said that it recognized that Manhattan Associates would be able to fulfill further potential future supply chain solution requirements.

Of the alternative solutions, the closest match fulfilled around 50% of our functionality requirement, compared with around 85% from Manhattan Associates, explained Tim Bolam, group operations & development director at Innovate Logistics.
