The ONE4U consortium has won four of a total of seven deals put out to tender as part of the Commission’s External Service Provision for Development, Studies and Support of Information Systems (ESP-DESIS) program.

Unisys will work with Capgemini subsidiary Sogeti, IRIS and Reggiani to provide applications development and support, database management, document and content management and data warehousing. Unisys will also provide onsite support and fixed-price off-site development, and will dedicate 160 employees to the client.

The contracts have a base value of 45m euros ($60m) over two years, and a potential value of 180m euros ($238m) if the Commission exercises two one-year extension options. Unisys said that its share of the total value is 32%, or a potential value of 58m euros ($77m).

The Unisys team will support the Commission’s multiple locations across Europe in cities including Brussels, Luxembourg, Seville and Dublin.
