TCS will deliver a range of satellite systems based on its SwiftLink World-Wide Satellite Systems. The VSAT systems will include multimedia communications capabilities that convey encrypted voice, video, and images. TCS will also provide maintenance, logistics, and operational support.

Maurice B Tose, president, chairman, and chief executive at TCS, said: This contract is a testament to our proven ability to deliver successful deployable satellite solutions in support of highly versatile and mobile US military missions.

In June TCS was awarded a three-year $2.4m contract to build and implement an IP-based private satellite network to support US Department of Defense personnel in Afghanistan. In April, it won approximately $15.8m in contracts to provide services to federal government customers across Civilian Agencies, the Department of Homeland Security, and the DoD.
