Samsung has reportedly previewed the Galaxy A7 at the Galaxy A-series launch in Malaysia.

The smartphone is reportedly powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and features a 5.5-inch, 1080 x 1920, Super AMOLED display.

It comes with 16GB of storage, 2600 mAh battery and is capable of 4G support, reports SoyaCincau.

According to other reports, the phone also features 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card up to 64GB.

The thin design measures 6.3mm, making it 0.4mm thinner than the Galaxy A5 or Galaxy Alpha.

Apart from A7, the company also launched the Galaxy E5 and the Galaxy E7. Both phones feature Super-AMOLED displays and will support ‘Hybrid Dual-SIM’, which is expected to allow the usage of the second SIM slot as a microSD card slot, reported NDTV Gadget.

E5 features a 8MP rear cameras and a 5MP front camera, while the E7 features a 13MP rear camera. The phones are expected to run on 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
