Consolidated adjusted operating income was $101.3 million for the fiscal first quarter of 2009, as compared to $94.6 million for the adjusted quarter of 2008. Consolidated revenue for fiscal first quarter of 2009 was $265.2 million, which included $147.8 million from the US wireless operations and $117.4 million from Puerto Rico operations.
For the first quarter of fiscal 2009, Puerto Rico wireless operations have reported revenue of $84.8 million, an increase of 4% from the same period of 2008.
For the fist fiscal quarter of 2009, consolidated revenue grew 7% versus the fiscal first quarter of 2008. The company ended the quarter with nearly 1.09 million total wireless subscribers, which compares to 1.06 million for the same period of 2008.
