Thus’s network system will carry voice traffic over its calls and lines service for more than 50 locations across the council’s area and also provide mobile services to some 300 employees.
As part of the agreement, Thus will provide account management, offering advice on all aspects of the voice and mobile services, to include portal based reporting and e-billing systems.
Gary Russ, procurement manager at South Somerset District Council (SSDC), said: We chose Thus as it offered what we needed and more, delivering a solution that meets our requirement for secure and reliable telecom services now, but also offering ongoing support and direction over the coming years.
