Both fee earners and secretaries at Carson McDowell have benefited from the workflow element of BigHand; work is being turned around much faster than we could achieve with tapes.
BigHand’s digital dictation software enables users to dictate directly to their network using a handheld recorder, headset, remote device, PDA, mobile phone or via the web. An encrypted sound file is then transferred instantly to available secretarial support.
The software’s client features include customisable interface, XML client database, telephony/cell phone dictation, email gateway/web uploader and speech recognition compatibility.
According to BigHand, Carson McDowell has selected its dictation system for its technical superiority and the team behind its implementation.
Mullan said: Throughout the project, from sales to rollout, we were confident of being in safe hands. Everything that was promised happened exactly as discussed, and in accordance with our timescales.
