BigHand’s digital dictation software enables users to dictate directly to their network using a handheld recorder, headset, remote device, PDA, mobile phone or via the web. An encrypted sound file is then transferred instantly to available secretarial support.

The software’s client features include customisable interface, XML client database, telephony/cell phone dictation, email gateway/web uploader and speech recognition compatibility.

According to BigHand, Carson McDowell has selected its dictation system for its technical superiority and the team behind its implementation.
