According to the company, Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) will be used to manage pre-requisite courses for those nominated to attend the International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA) training courses, and educational and training materials for IFALPA members.

NetDimensions has said that IFALPA will initially implement EKP as part of a one-year eLearning trial involving 500 pilot volunteers. The e-learning courses will serve as pre-requisites for subsequent IFALPA Training instruction and as vehicles for the transfer of critical information to IFALPA members on important current issues such as Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums in China.

By offering the required foundation training for pilot volunteers online, pilot volunteers attending IFALPA Training Courses are better informed and thus able to participate actively, as well as shorten physical courses – resulting in savings and better utilization of scarce IFALPA resources, said NetDimensions.

Andrew Lupton, director of Asia Pacific sales at NetDimensions, said: We are delighted that an organization as well-regarded and influential as the IFALPA has chosen EKP. Our secure compliance and education solutions are ideally suited for commercial flight operations staff who can easily access courses while traveling.
