Under the agreement, Four51 and SAP America will work collaboratively to identify joint account opportunities to bring the Four51 software-as-a-service solution into the SAP community and to bring Four51 users into the SAP ecosystem. Together, Four51 and SAP will aim to create a new community of users that leverage business management applications from both companies.
In addition to signing a joint marketing agreement with SAP, Four51’s latest technology release opened up cross marketing opportunities for both companies. Four51 incorporated Open Catalog Interface functionality, which enables users of SAP solutions to integrate purchase order processing with their Four51 web-based catalogs. This process allows Four51 customers whose buyers use SAP solutions to interoperate through an entirely electronic workflow, said Four51.
Tim Morin, executive vice president of Four51, said: Our vision is to create a best-run industry in which customers who buy print and indirect goods can interoperate easily and efficiently with print sellers and suppliers running Four51 integrated with SAP Business One. Our joint marketing agreement with SAP America will add significant momentum in our efforts to build a standard platform of common e-commerce and ERP technology for thousands of buyers, sellers and suppliers in the print and indirect goods industry.
Conrad Mandala, vice president of SAP Business One North America at SAP Canada, said: We view the Four51 network of buyers, sellers and suppliers as an exciting mega-channel of opportunity. We are collaborating to bring solutions from SAP and Four51 into our respective ecosystems and, as we do so, we will be aiming to unlock important, new customer opportunities for both of our companies.
