OpenText’s collaboration with Microsoft dates back to 2005 when both companies announced an initiative to combine Microsoft’s productivity tools with OpenText’s enterprise content management software. In 2007, OpenText unveiled other vertical industry-specific products integrated with Microsoft’s SharePoint Server, including one aimed at managing the US Department of Defense-certified records, and another to manage compliance with US Food and Drug Administration requirements.
