PC maker Lenovo launched its latest lightweight ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
ThinkPad X1 is 17.7mm thick and is said to be one of the lightest 14-inch class laptops, weighing less than 2.9 lbs.
The model comes with a full HD 2,560×1,440 touch display and is powered by a fifth generation Intel Core i7 processor.
Other features include a PCIe solid-state drive (SSD), which Lenovo claims is 80% faster than standard SSDS, 512GB, 10.9 hours of battery life and Intel HD GT2 graphics,

ThinkPad X1 is retailing at $1,249 and will be available later in January.
The company also announced several accessories in the Think line of products for enterprises this week.
The ThinkPad Stack is designed to allow owners of mobile systems to stack together accessories such as a 10,000 mAh Power Bank, a 1TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive and Bluetooth speaker, while the ThinkVision X24 monitor is a "premium super-thin monitor" aimed at users looking for reasonable features at an affordable price.
