Blue Coat’s products have been implemented at Gammon’s Hong Kong headquarters and its regional offices in mainland China, Singapore and Macau.
Gammon stated that with the new Blue Coat appliances, response time for content delivery has improved up to 40%. The appliances also incorporate Blue Coat WebFilter, a web filtering solution that runs on Blue Coat ProxySG appliances and enforces acceptable use policies, protects against spyware and phishing and helps manage employee productivity. In addition, Blue Coat ProxyAV combined with Blue Coat ProxySG provides virus scanning, against web-borne viruses and threats.
