According to the company, this free service allows users to create a PlayStation network account and download free content or purchase content from the PlayStation store for the PC to their PlayStation Portable (PSP) without the use of PlayStation3 (PS3).
The company claims that PSP users can download classic PlayStation games as well as new PSP titles from the PlayStation store, including Syphon Filter, Gangs of London, WipEout, Pure, PS one classic, JetMoto, and Crash Bandicoot. The new online store will also feature trailers for forthcoming titles, add-on game items, promotional videos and themes for PSP that allow users to customize their PSP menu color, background and icons.
On November 5, 2007, Microsoft enhanced its Xbox 360 by adding games, television shows and video game programming to Xbox Live in collaboration with ESPN.
