The Milan, Italy-based company claims to be the world’s first open WiFi company. It said its NAAW software can instantly create wireless networks and transform any WiFi device into an hub of a mesh network. It has developed different versions of the NAAW technology for the enterprise, SoHo and home, and consumer sectors.
The Intesa Sanpaolo funding is part of a program designed to help the development of innovation and intellectual property within small and medium-sized Italian companies.
