The $15.6bn IT services operation has appointed Onagh Ash, a former senior vice president at Mercury which HP acquired last November, as the new head of its consulting and integration arm which racked up sales of $2.9bn last year.
The other new appointment is Bob Pryor as senior vice president of global business development. Pryor was formerly the head of Capgemini’s outsourcing business in North America.
Both will report to ex-EDS man John McCain, who took over the helm at HP Services in November from the departing Steve Smith. Last June, Pablo Sanchez-Lozano replaced Marc Schwarz as head of HP’s managed services business.
HP Services is aiming to reinvigorate its top-line growth after a period of focusing on improving the profitability of some its larger outsourcing deals. Earlier this month, it secured a $175m services deal with aviation electronics supplier Rockwell Collins.
