The release of Airvana’s latest EV-DO technology enables operators to deploy push-to-talk services that for the first time can meet or exceed stringent performance requirements such as uncompromising quality-of-service and sub-one-second ‘push-to-beep’ response time, on an All-IP mobile broadband network. By delivering superior push-to-talk services on their existing EV-DO Rev A networks, operators are able to leverage the same mobile broadband network infrastructure that they are using to provide many other IP services.
