Walnut Creek, California-based Covalent provides enterprise support for the Apache web server, Tomcat and Geronimo application servers, and Axis web services framework, amongst other things.
The company has teamed up with OpenLogic to provide 24-hour, seven-day support for those projects to OpenLogic, boosting the open source software and services firm’s Apache support credentials.
Covalent has also formed a partnership with Hyderabad, India-based Pramati, an emerging enterprise Java application server software vendor.
The deal with Pramati’s MiddlewareWorks services division will see Covalent promoting the MiddlewareWorks services in Asia and North America, while Pramati will sell Covalent’s open source services to its customers in Asia.
