The smartphone-iPod device is expected to launch in the country on November 29, but more details will be made available today at the Apple Expo in Paris.
France Telecom has more than 2,000 paid WiFi hotspots in Paris, in addition to several hundred free hotspots available to Parisians.
Earlier last week, Apple announced it had chosen O2 as its carrier in the UK and T-Mobile in Germany. AT&T is Apple’s carrier of choice in the US.
