Satyam originally signed its deal with Nestle, the world’s top food company, in 2005. According to a release, Satyam provides applications development and maintenance and infrastructure management services for Nestle. Satyam said it currently has about 350 employees dedicated to the Nestle account but this should increase to nearly 500 in the next year.
Media reports have put the value of the new deal at $75m.
