Lockheed’s IS&S segment pulled in $4.4bn in revenue in 2006, and IT&GS recorded $4.6bn in sales. A few parts of IT&GS – Lockheed’s aircraft and logistics centers, its management of Sandia National Laboratories, and its stake in the UK atomic weapons joint venture – will move to a different business segment, electronic systems.
And the company’s transportation and security business, now part of electronic systems, will be folded into the new IT and gloabl services unit.
