The Cupertino, California-based CRM vendor has picked co-founder Clint Oram to lead its European tour as general manager of Sugar Europe, building on momentum that has already seen a quarter of the company’s customers and 30% of its open source downloads come from Europe.
The company’s new office in Dublin, Ireland will enable it to serve those customers while also expanding the Sugar On-Demand hosted infrastructure and generating localized support for the French and German markets.
The fast growing company announced in December that it had chalked up 1,000 customers and one million downloads since its software was released in September 2004.
