Conformia’s software helps manufacturing firms to manage the entire lifecycle of a product from its conception, through design and manufacture, to service and disposal, by communicating information about products internally and among supply chain partners.
The investment is the fourth from SAP’s $125m SAP NetWeaver Fund which was set up in May 2006 to drive innovative development around the NetWeaver application integration platform. SAP claims over 1,500 Powered by SAP NetWeaver certifications and 1,000 ISVs actively developing on NetWeaver.
The announcement was made at the Software 2007 conference in Santa Clara California.
