Under the terms of the expanded relationship Netezza will integrate Unica’s Affinium 7.1 web analytics software into its NPS data appliance platform to analyze large volumes of clickstream data.

Netezza, which is based in Framingham, Massachusetts, also plans to integrate more deeply with other Affinium enterprise marketing management suite applications such as its Campaign module.

Unica’s Affinium suite helps companies to improve their customer interactions and customer-facing websites by analyzing on- and off-line behavioral data. Coupling Affinium with Netezza’s appliance system opens up opportunities to quickly analyze terabytes of data, without the cost of implementing an industrial strength enterprise data warehouse.

Netezza should find ample opportunities to position its NPS system across Waltham, Massachusetts-based Unica’s 500 strong customer base.

Netezza announced the integration at the NRF retail conference.
