More than 1,000 police officers will leverage Intergraph’s solutions to serve and protect those who live and work in the Canton of Geneva, as well as the Commune of Geneva, Switzerland’s second most populous city. In addition to Geneva, four other public safety agencies in Switzerland leverage Intergraph’s emergency incident response, planning and reporting solutions including the police, fire and emergency medical service forces in Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city.

The Canton of Geneva police sought to upgrade legacy systems to meet the evolving public safety needs of the community, which serves as the EU headquarters for the United Nations, as well as hosts numerous embassies and other international organizations. Decision makers found that Intergraph’s emergency incident response, planning and reporting solutions met the organization’s objectives for new public safety technologies, by providing evolutionary solutions that are both web-based and configurable.
